Oh delicious pavlova, why are you so tasty?
I’ve always admired the pavlova from afar. It always looked so complicated to prepare with its crackly, pillowy goodness. Eventually, I decided enough was enough and I had to make it.
I attempted to make a paleo version of the pavlova first. It came out looking beautiful, but water was accidentally spilled on it after it came out of the oven. Since I couldn’t eat it, I figured I should try making a tradition one so I could compare the taste for my next paleo version. I also didn’t want to waste anymore maple sugar with how much it costs.
This dessert was amazing. It really wasn’t that complicated to make either. With the amount of meringue I had, I was able to make two 9” pavlovas. So good.
Have I made another paleo pavlova? No, not yet. I hope to start working on it again soon though!

Did you know it is National Crafting month?! Hello! I’m so excited. I’ve been working on a craft daily so far this month. I’ll be showering you guys with crafts for this month’s blog posts.
I’ll start with my wall hanging. Not the best picture, sorry! This is my second wall hanging, and I’m really starting to fall in love with working with a loom. I anticipate many more wall hangings coming in the near future!
My cats had actually pulled this down from the wall and made a bed out of it. I’m going to have to fluff out some of the roving and correct placement in a few places. It still seems to look fairly good though, even after all the love they gave it.
What fun things do you have planned for this month? Do you enjoy crafting? Have you worked on a wall hanging before?
