About Apron Warrior
My name is Carolann and I’m a lover of food, teller of tales, and mama to a wonderful little girl.
Apron Warrior is what comes from my food/cooking passion with updates here and there on my writing. I’ve been working on fixing up the site and had recently moved from Blogger to WordPress. It’s still in progress, so I hope you’ll be patient with me.
I believe in home cooked meals made from real food and fresh ingredients. The recipes I provide(from 2015 on) will be as such. Above all, I believe that cooking and gathering together to eat is a celebration of life and that it should be done often–if not daily. So enjoy each other and good food!
Since you’re on this happy little “About Me” page, here are some random–but prominent–facts about me.
Dark clouds and rain are my favorite types of weather, but I’ve lived in California all my life.
I’m a night owl. As soon as my boss goes to sleep in her crib you can find me blogging, reading, writing, or wasting time on the Internet till early hours of the morning.
I love games
You might assume I would since I make them, but I really do. I enjoy both board and video. BioWare pretty much rocks my socks for more current video games, but my heart will always have a soft spot for the Legacy of Kain/Soul Reaver series. Board games- we just recently got Terra Mystica (our shared valentine gift) and are loving that right now and I really love WhiteChapel.
Traveling is a must in my life
I love exploring different lands and cultures and of course experiencing different kinds of food! Rome, Italy so far has been my favorite. One of these days I’ll make it over to Asia.
I married a genius. A very tall genius. We make video games together (I create the art and he programs) so check out his site deadlyApps. Chris enjoys exceptionally spicy food and coffee. We both hate bell peppers so we both lucked out there!
Please enjoy Apron Warrior and don’t be afraid to contact me and find out more About Apron Warrior! I love hearing from people and nerding out regarding food, games, and books!
