Restaurant Review: Love Boat Sushi

I love, love, love Love Boat Sushi.

Now found in Oceanside, San Marcos, Fashion Valley, and Rancho Bernardo, the Hubster and I find ourselves eating here quite often. The venues are usually busy, so prepare yourself for a wait if you come around dinner time. The food is definitely worth the wait.

The above roll, TNT, happens to be my favorite. Filled with spicy tuna and topped with fresh ahi and avocado–how can one resist?

Hubster usually prefers the top tier of spicy, so he likes to get the Albacore Delight (shown below). This has albacore and crab on the inside and avocado and more albacore on the top. Drizzled on top the roll is a spicy oil. I believe we used to call this Dragon oil when we were kids. It leaves the burning sensation on your lips like hot chilies, unlike the quick pow of wasabi that fades quickly.
