Restaurant Review Cenote Grill

Restaurant Review Cenote Grill - Buffalo Chicken Burrito

Restaurant Review Cenote Grill

This place is a fun fusion sort of restaurant mixing Mexican with Asian and American types of foods. Family owned yet always packed! It seems it would be as crowded as it is, as it’s in a n off beat location next to a quilt shop and 7/11. It’s obvious, the crowd hears the loud roar of the food and they storm the place in packs.

A few noteworthy things:

-The margaritas are STRONG.
-The carne asada is juicy and flavorful.
-And the unique blends of food such as, the calamari burritos, thai burritos, and buffalo chicken burrito (shown above) add a whimsical attraction for your palate.

Highly recommended! Be sure to realize this is not a traditional Mexican restaurant. If you’re wanting traditional foods, then you might be disappointed in the lack of dishes you’re used to and this may not be the place for you tonight. If feel like something of a treat, then head over to Cenote Grill in Escondido, CA! It’s especially worth it 🙂

Hello!

Avatar for ApronWarriorI’m Carolann and I’m obsessed with food. Seriously, I live and sleep thinking about food. I’m on a mission to create doable, real food recipes
from scratch as well as living a more natural life style. I also believe that life should be celebrated and one of the best ways to do that is around a dinner table with friends and family (+ a game for some extra bits of laughter and edge of your seat competition). If you’re new here, I invite you to check out some of my favorite recipes or my story that lead me to real food.
