Okay, who watched the debate earlier this week?
Did you miss it? If you live in the U.S. it’s kinda a big deal, and you should add the next one to your calendar.
To make the debate even more interesting and fun, invite some friends over and tune in together. For the first debate, I had a couple of peeps over, bbq’ed steak and had a couple different finger foods to eat while we watched. You can make it a simple affair or go as crazy as you’d like.
Back in college (was it really that long ago???), we got a large group together and watched. It was totally cheesy as you’d imagine. We had simple party foods and drinks, gathered in front of a projector screen, and yelled at each other whenever we disagreed. It was a blast.
Now, my debate watching parties are a bit more—civil, but still fun.
Get informed.
It’s the best thing you can do to help our countries future. Next debate (October 4th for VP and October 9th for the presidential) I’ll have to use Instagram stories and Snapchat. Come follow along!
Now, I bet you’re asking, will I be having an Election Day party? You bet I will be! It’s still in the works, and I’m planning out an awesome menu to go with the long night. I’m not sure if everyone will stay till the end, but you can still have fun together for the night.
I’m thinking something similar to a New Years Eve party where people can just graze while we talk and have the TV going.
Does anyone else have Election Day parties? What do you serve? Does everyone stay till the end?
