Rich and creamy hot chocolate that’s easy and made from scratch.

Ingredients

1/2 cup white sugar

3/4 cup dutch cocoa powder

1/2 cup water

1 cinnamon stick

4 cups of milk

1 cup of heavy cream

1 tsp of vanilla

Instructions

In a medium pot, add your sugar, cocoa powder, and water and whisk to combine.

Once your chocolate mixture has dissolved, add the cinnamon stick and allow it to simmer for two minutes.

Slowly add your milk and cream. Bring to a low simmer and remove from heat.

Add your vanilla and stir well.

Keep in a slow cooker or pressure cooker to keep warm until ready to serve.

Enjoy!
