(Soooo I thought I hit publish for this post, but I didn’t. Sorry this is coming a bit late you guys!)
It’s the last day of Whole30 and I turned Netflix on and started watching The Great British Baking Show. I’m not sure if that’s a good or bad thing. I can tell this might become my next addiction in cooking shows. They’re making Swiss rolls in the first episode and I love the decorations and inspiration of flavors combination they select.
In other news, my electric smoker is dead. I’m very sad because I was going to smoke pork ribs today. It looks like I’ll be making ribs in the pressure cooker. I’ve never made ribs in the pressure cooker before, so it will be kind of exciting.

This was way too much work for the result.
I put this much effort into lasagna, which is a huge crowd please and feeds a lot of people. This was not terrible, but it wasn’t something I wanted to spend a lot of time on.
I really liked the sweet potatoes and would make the sweet potatoes by themselves as a mash. It was just the right amount of spices and coconut milk.
Everything else was just all right. It wasn’t worth the time put in, and I even shortened it by microwaving the potatoes instead of baking them.
Sadly, because of how much time this took, I didn’t plan ahead and didn’t get the sunlight I need to take a decent picture of this.
Would I make this again? No, probably not. It wasn’t bad, it just wasn’t anything special.
